Responsibilities/Qualifications

Drees Homes is currently looking for a dynamic and results-oriented executive seeking the position of Regional President to leverage extensive experience in strategic leadership, operational excellence, and market expansion.  Aiming to drive sustainable growth and profitability while fostering our unique culture across the region.  Committed to building strong relationships with stakeholders and enhancing brand presence, ultimately delivering exceptional value to customers and shareholders alike.  This position has oversight and responsibility for the Jacksonville, FL, Nashville, TN, Raleigh, NC, and Washington DC/Manassas, VA markets. This position can be based out of any of the four cities it oversees or our corporate headquarters, located in the Greater Cincinnati area. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

-Lead and evaluate Division personnel to ensure team members meet both Division and Company objectives.
-Oversee the financial health of each Division, focusing on profit and loss, inventory, and market homes.
-Direct Division Managers in the development and implementation of systems and programs necessary to sell and deliver products.
-Supervise the budgeting process for each Division, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth and profitability goals.
-Provide oversight and input into the design and architecture of housing products for the region, collaborating with marketing,
production, and other internal teams.
-Ensure operating Divisions maintain sufficient lot supplies to meet goals, guiding negotiations with developers and evaluating raw
land for potential development.
-Implement management techniques and training programs to achieve short-term goals while maintaining alignment with long-term
corporate objectives.
-Collaborate with Corporate staff to ensure divisional operations support overall company goals.
-Monitor division warranty work, taking proactive steps to improve product design and customer experience.
-Continuously review and recommend improvements to policies, procedures, goals, and strategic initiatives.

 

 

Requirements:

 

-Proven leadership experience in a similar role within the home building or real estate industry.
-Strong financial acumen and ability to manage divisional P&L.
-Expertise in land acquisition, development, and negotiations.
-Ability to guide and mentor Division Managers and drive team success.
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The schedule of this position is typically Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM, plus additional hours as necessary.
