Seeking an enthusiastic and friendly professional for a New Home Sales Representative for our Elevate Division in the Indianapolis Division. 

 

The objective of this position will be to sell and promote Drees Homes Build on Your Lot program.  This program allows for our customers to build their dream plan from our award-winning portfolio of homes, right on their lot or choice location - anywhere their heart desires.  Whether the customer already owns a lot, needs help finding a site, or has a particular property in mind, the new home sales representative and team of professionals will guide and support our customers every step of the way.  In this position, candidates will be working off-site.   

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sells the company's product in a manner consistent with company policy and at a volume that meets or exceeds set quotas
  • Understands and utilizes all sales forms, reports, procedures, contracts and policies
  • Establishes Realtor relations through marketing, frequent office visits, phone and e-mail follow-up
  • Attends or hosts events
  • Displays a thorough knowledge of the company's product lines
  • Assists customers with selection of home site, house plan, and structural options
  • Participates in weekly sales meetings
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 Knowledge and Skills:

  • Energetic, self-motivated and customer-driven individual who approaches challenges with enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • Strong work ethic as well as results oriented
  • Desire to succeed as well as to satisfy customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication proficiencies and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

  • Well organized and self-directed 
  • Strong closing skills as well as an independent and self-starter
  • Has experience with Salesforce
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Requirements:

  • Basic computer skills
  • Successful sales experience required
  • New home sales experience required
  • Associates Degree required, in a related field is ideal
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, in a related field is ideal

Potential weekend hours.  Excellent earning potential plus a comprehensive benefit package including profit sharing & 401(k) plans.

 

This position is a 100% commission opportunity in which compensation is determined solely by the success of the individual Sales Representative.
