The Drees Homes Human Resources team is looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented HR Talent Specialist.  who enjoys the world of staffing and onboarding. In this position, you will be responsible for all aspects of the recruiting, hiring and onboarding process, coordination of college career fair efforts as well as HRIS maintenance,  and other H.R. related responsibilities.

 

Featured Responsibilities:

  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment including initiating requisitions, collaborating with hiring managers, reviewing resumes and pre-screening candidates
  • Administration of pre-employment skills testing including scoring, interpreting and communicating results to hiring managers
  • Coordination of pre-employment drug screen and background check programs
  • Coordination of new drivers of company vehicles and Annual Motor Vehicle Records checks for authorized drivers
  • Responsible for coordination of college recruitment initiatives and represent the company at career fairs
  • Coordinate and complete the New Hire Onboarding process
  • Conduct Exit Interviews
  • Responsible for full utilization of the HRIS - Onboarding, New Hire setup and employee changes and well as data integrity and ad hoc reporting
  • Coordinate/Assist with the Corporate United Way campaign
  • Contribute to other HR initiatives as needed

 

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills; high level of detailed-mindedness required
  • Ability to juggle multiple high-priority projects and initiatives
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office products)
  • HRIS experience, UKG/Ultipro experience preferred
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, iCIMS experience a plus
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on recruitment
  • Demonstrated ability to function/recruit on a multi-location level
  • Knowledge of common HR concepts, practices and procedures
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred
  • SHRM-CP, a plus

The schedule of this position will be Monday - Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM and will work out of our Corporate office at 211 Grandview Drive Florence, KY 41042.
