First Equity Mortgage, a subsidiary of Drees Homes, is GROWING and seeking motivated candidates for the position of Loan Officer to originate loans for our home building divisions.  This position is responsible for working leads provided by the Drees Homes Divisions. 

The Loan Officer solicits mortgage originations from Drees Homes customers as well as providing customer service to the borrowers throughout the loan process.  Additionally, as a Loan Officer you will provide support to Drees Homes sales staff by pre-qualifying customers, providing rates  and current loan program information to assist in the sales process.

Some requirements include: 

• A minimum of 2 years experience in the mortgage banking industry
• Experience as a loan officer originating FHA, VA and conventional loans
• Knowledge of lending rules and regulations, including investor and agency product and underwriting requirements
• Strong sales ability to influence and negotiate in a persuasive manner
• Must have strong communication and customer service skills
• Strong math skills along with the ability to analyze financial information
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Office programs
• Working knowledge of Encompass LOS a plus
• Must obtain NMLS and state licensing
• For this position, you must be able to meet certain credit criteria

This position offers base pay plus incentive compensation and a full benefits package including profit sharing and 401(k) plans.

This position is located in our First Equity Mortgage Fort Mitchell, KY  office.
