    Responsibilities/Qualifications

    We are seeking experienced candidates for a Construction Manager position for the Jacksonville, FL area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record for managing a team that completes jobs timely, efficiently, and within budget without sacrificing quality.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Train, develop and manage a team of construction personnel
    • Coordinate all construction activities for the territory
    • Develop budget and manage all direct & indirect construction costs against the budget
    • Conduct regular audits and review/correct any construction errors
    • Implement & oversee all safety requirements to ensure compliance
    • Evaluate & manage all trade partners and their performance

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Demonstrated leadership skills
    • Knowledge of all the phases of residential construction process
    • Knowledge of all local building codes
    • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the use of an iPad
    • High level interpersonal skills and customer service skills
    • Self motivated, ambitious and driven to succeed; results oriented
    • High level of personal and professional integrity
    • Strong problem solving skills

     

    Requirements:

    • College Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
    • 5+ years experience in production homebuilding; multi-family construction experience a plus
    • Previous experience managing operations and budgets in a production environment (40+ houses per year)
