    Responsibilities/Qualifications

    Are you looking to break into a General Sales Manager role within new home construction? Drees Homes, one of the country’s leading homebuilders is currently hiring for the position of General Sales Manager in our Washgington DC market. Ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of new home sales experience with a proven track record of success. Some Sales Management preferred, but not required. Candidates should be energetic, a team builder and coach, organized, and decisive, along with demonstration of proven leadership skills and a customer service focus.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Directly supervise sales team through guidance on presentation and maximizing self-generated traffic
    • Responsible for recruiting, training and motivating sales team
    • Act as a liaison between sales force, field staff, homeowners, and operational staff to resolve issues and questions within the company guidelines, while focusing on customer satisfaction internally and externally
    • Continuously research competition and conduct market analysis to ensure the company is maximizing market share
    • Work with upper management as it relates to marketing collateral and promotional programs for the region

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • College degree required; related field, preferred
    • Proven personal sales track record required
    • Sales management experience preferred
    • Knowledge of new home sales required
