    Responsibilities/Qualifications

    Drees Homes is seeking candidates for a Customer Care Representative position for our Nashville, TN Division office located in Brentwood.

     

    In this position, you will focus on customer service - performing various administrative and clerical tasks to ensure smooth and accurate processing of homeowner warranty and service needs.  In addition, you will provide support for the Operations and Production processes.

     

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Preparation and distribution of customer care requests
    • Maintain customer care logs, job files and archives
    • Maintain new home orientation and warranty quality inspection logs
    • Support the Permitting Coordinator
    • Assemble Builder New Start Job Packages
    • Interface with local utilities, manage
    • Research and respond to invoice and payment inquiries
    • Support the estimating function and assist in obtaining subcontractor bids
    • Prepare permitting applications and check requests for building permits, zoning, sewer, water and electric
    • Distribute and post selection sheets, prints and variance purchase orders to subcontractors, supplier and internal customers
    • Answering phones and various other administrative and clerical tasks to support the Operations and Production processes

     Desired Knowledge & Skills:

    • Must be organized, detail-minded and process oriented
    • Ability to succeed in a deadline driven environment
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Construction industry experience in a clerical or administrative role
    • Customer Service and/or Warranty experience in construction a plus
    • Previous permitting experience interfacing with local municipalities and utilities a plus
    • Previous accounts payable, office administration and/or estimating experience is ideal
    • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications, strong emphasis in Excel
    • JDE experience helpful
    • High school degree required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree a preferred
