    Responsibilities/Qualifications

    Design Assistant - Part-Time Opportunity

    We are seeking candidates for part time opportunity as a Design Assistant to work in our Drees Homes Design Center located in Fort Mitchell, KY.

     

    Our Design Center is the one-stop resource for homebuyers to choose distinctive finishes that make their home completely unique.

     

    In this position, you will assist Design Consultants with providing customers with an exceptional experience prior to and during the selections process.

     

    Responsibilities include -

    • Assist with Saturday "Preview Events" by greeting customers, answering questions regarding included features and design, and prepping welcome packets
    • Assist with the introduction of new products and keeping the Design Center up-to-date
    • Provide customers with available options and pricing
    • Ensure all model numbers, pricing and displays are up to date
    • Greet customers, answer phone calls, general filing and clerical duties
    • Assist with scheduling new customers into the Design Center
    • Provide excellent service to our customers

     

    Requirements include -

    • Must have superior customer service skills
    • Experience in an Art or Design related field
    • Interest in interior design and a desire to learn
    • Good computer skills including basic Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Basic understanding of floor plans
    • Organized and strong attention to detail
    • Friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to exercise patience with customers

     

    Required work hours will be Monday and Tuesday 10:00 - 6:00, Friday 2:00 - 6:00 and Saturday 10:00-2:00.
