    We are seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Warranty Manager in the Houston, TX area. The Assistant Warranty Manager is responsible for the leadership, coordination, administration, training and management of all warranty personnel and processes to provide excellent service to Drees’ homeowners.


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Utilize available reports to ensure the efficient completion of all Warranty Work Orders.
    • Train and manage Warranty personnel to understand and administer all Drees procedures, while creating a positive and outstanding experience for our customers.
    • Direct and communicate with all Trade Partners on issues of quality and cost; proactively manage to reduce warranty expenses by identifying trends and holding Trade Partners accountable for the work/materials.
    • Assist with the development, management and administration of Customer Care Program to ensure proper and detailed documentation of all service calls and warranty related issues, timely 60 day orientations, yearly warranty visits, interim work orders and emergency work orders.
    • Personally meet with customers as needed to provide warranty and customer service; follow-up with written correspondence.
    • Communicate and cooperate with other managers and staff in times of resource allocation to reduce and eliminate manpower bottlenecks.


    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Comprehensive knowledge of residential construction.
    • Advanced problem solving skills.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills to motivate and manage an experienced team.
    • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the use of an iPad.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.



    • College Degree in related field preferred
    • 3+ years residential construction experience required
    • 2+ years customer service experience required
