    Responsibilities/Qualifications

    Are you high energy, a self-motivator, and love to solve problems? Do you have residential construction experience but like the technical side of homebuilding operations? Do you like systems and analytics? We are seeking candidates for the position of Production Resource Manager in our Corporate office, located in Ft. Mitchell, KY.

     

    This position is responsible for assisting the Vice President of Production in ensuring the proper use of internal scheduling and trade contractor systems to improve the Company's overall scheduling efficiency. This position is also expected to analyze the available production data to identify areas with room for improvement as it relates to reducing construction cycle times.

     

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Work with Production Managers to develop and maintain all scheduling templates to ensure we have simple, consistent and effective roadmaps for Builders to build our homes.
    • Audit scheduling system for proper updating and provide ongoing training and support to Builders and Construction Managers.
    • Troubleshoot programming issues within the scheduling system and maintain a list for future enhancements.
    • Develop strategies to introduce and retain all Trade Partners on the new functionality of the system, DreesTeam 2.0
    • Provide ongoing support and training to Trade Partners use of the DreesTeam program.
    • Work with Construction Managers and Production Managers to analyze available production dates to identify improvement areas in increasing production on schedule and reducing cycle times.
    • Work with Production team to introduce and implement "Even Flow Production" tecniques.
    • Work with Production team to identify and manage poor performing trades.
    • Work with Construction Managers and Production Managers to identify recurring items at WQI and Homeowner Orientation to improve completeness of homes at closing.
    • Work with Warranty team to identify recurring warranty items and cost to reduce expense during warranty period.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Business
    • 5+ years experience in residential construction
    • Experience with construction scheduling software
