    Responsibilities/Qualifications

    Drees Homes is seeking candidates for a Closing Coordinator position for our Jacksonville Division.

      

    In this position you will be responsible for all aspects of the closing process as well as administrative/clerical tasks to support the division. We are looking for a team-player with the ability to work well with our sales and management teams.

     

    Some responsibilities include: 

    • Act as the liaison between the Company, Lender, Title Company, Realtor and customer throughout the closing process
    • Preparation of various closing related documents and reports
    • Ascertain necessary documents are accurate and ready for scheduled closing to finalize the house transfer transaction
    • Schedule closings and represent Drees Homes throughout the closing process
    • Update and maintain closing information in software programs
    • Create buyers closing package to be presented to new homeowners at closing
    • Process invoices for timely and accurate payment
    • Various other closing related responsibilities
    • Coordinate quarterly and annual division meetings
    • Responsible to maintaining and ordering of office supplies
    • Act as HR Liaison for the division conducting pre-employment testing, completing new hire paperwork and assisting with tasks required by Corporate Human Resources

     

    Some Requirements include:

     

    • Previous administrative/clerical experience
    • Strong customer service orientation
    • Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Experience with JDEdwards helpful
    • Accounts payable and receivable experience a plus
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be detail-minded, strong organizational and follow through skills
    • Ability to multi-task, adapt and be flexible as circumstances change
    • Must maintain a professional demeanor when representing Drees Homes
    • Previous experience with the home closing process in the homebuilding, title, mortgage or real estate business preferred
    • Knowledge of HUD settlement statements and other closing documents helpful
